Summer Nemesis

Whatever the cost, whatever the risk, Wilhelm knows that he just has to succeed. Failure is simply not an option. As a drone wasp, his life is predetermined, dedicated to finding a mate, but first he must overcome the self-doubts that jeopardise his chances of success. Only then will he be able to master the skills that will deliver his triumph. But Wilhelm exists in the insect world, where the path of true love rarely runs smoothly. Taken away from his home environment, he faces a series of challenges in his quest for passion, some with comical outcomes, others so sinister that his very survival is in doubt. His task is difficult enough, even without the unintentional interventions of Tom Reynolds and his family, but once the fortunes of the human family and the wasp become irrevocably intertwined, things go from bad to worse for them both. Add in the presence of Wilhelmina, a female wasp so devoted to her colony that she will do anything to protect it, and the scene is set for confusion and mayhem. Wilhelm's resolve is severely tested, often with dramatic and unforeseen consequences, whilst Wilhelmina becomes embroiled in several perilous action-packed confrontations. All Tom wants is a nice holiday. Set in the small Devon seaside town of Budleigh Salterton, the story is written from the perspectives of the main wasp characters and of poor Tom, a human simply trying to enjoy his holiday.Author: Harris, Adrian, author Contributors: Harris, Adrian, author Binding: paperback Publication Date: Release Date: Languages: English,Published,English,Original Language,Englis Published/Release Date: 20 Jul 2026 Format: Paperback / softback Publisher/Studio/Brand: New Generation Publishing Author/Director/Artist: Adrian Harris Dimension (cm): 203x127x18 mm Package Dimension (cm): 18x203x127 mm Item Weight (g): 263 Package Weight (g): 386
