Crosville in Liverpool

The Crosville bus company started bus operations in Liverpool in 1922 and by the end of the decade was the leading operator across the Wirral and into Lancashire, Cheshire and North Wales. Crosville buses were an everyday sight in Merseyside until its Liverpool depot closed in early 1987 following deregulation of the bus industry in October 1986. Richard Lloyd Jones charts the fortunes of Crosville in Liverpool over sixty years, drawing on archive photographs of the company, its depot and vehicles as well as personal accounts of staff and their families.Author: Jones, Richard Lloyd, author Contributors: Jones, Richard Lloyd, author Binding: paperback Number Of Pages: 96 Publication Date: Release Date: Languages: English,Published,English,Original Language,Englis Published/Release Date: 15 Jul 2025 Format: Paperback / softback Publisher/Studio/Brand: Amberley Publishing Author/Director/Artist: Richard Lloyd Jones Dimension (cm): 232x165x9 mm Package Dimension (cm): 9x232x165 mm Item Weight (g): 288 Package Weight (g): 308
