Exploits & Opinions Of Dr Faustroll

The founding text of pataphysics ("the science of imaginary solutions"), and one of the most quietly influential novels of the 20th century Alfred Jarry is best known as the author of the proto-Dada play Ubu Roi, but this anarchic novel of absurdist philosophy is widely regarded as the central work to his oeuvre. Exploits and Opinions of Dr. Faustroll recounts the adventures of the inventor of “Pataphysics... the science of imaginary solutions.”Author: Shattuck, Roger, author,Taylor, Simon Watson, translator,Jarry, Alfred, author Contributors: Shattuck, Roger, author,Taylor, Simon Watson, translator,Jarry, Alfred, author Binding: paperback Number Of Pages: 160 Publication Date: Release Date: Languages: English,Published,French,Original Language,English Edition: Annotated Published/Release Date: 1 Aug 1996 Format: Paperback / softback Publisher/Studio/Brand: Exact Change,U.S. Author/Director/Artist: Alfred Jarry Dimension (cm): 206x155x10 mm Package Dimension (cm): 13x201x150 mm Item Weight (g): 249 Package Weight (g): 272
